Check 10 / 18 HIGH impact In the full checklist
Address autocomplete Google Places +11% CVR
What this check is
Typing a full address on a phone is the slowest part of checkout, and every typo becomes a failed delivery. Autocomplete cuts the keystrokes and standardises the address at the same time.
How to implement it
Enable the address autocomplete in the checkout settings or through the theme, and confirm the field still allows manual entry for the addresses the lookup misses. Keep the postal-code and country fields consistent so duties and shipping rates resolve correctly.
How to verify it
Enter a partial street address on mobile and confirm the suggestion list appears, picking one fills every field, and the shipping rate recalculates for the resolved country.
