Check 1 / 9 MED impact In the full checklist
Reviews widget with filter by rating + photo + search
What this check is
A shopper reading reviews is looking for a specific answer: the one-star experiences, the photos of the real product, the review that mentions their size or skin type. Filters turn a wall of text into a searchable record.
How to implement it
Use a widget that supports filtering by rating and by photo, plus a search field, and show the rating distribution so the shopper can see the shape of the opinions rather than a single average. Keep pagination so the page does not load hundreds of reviews at once.
How to verify it
Filter by one-star and by photo on a product with plenty of reviews and confirm the list updates correctly, and that the distribution shown matches the number of reviews published.
