Check 4 / 12 LOW impact In the full checklist
Express options with price + exact delivery date
What this check is
Paid express shipping is only worth offering when the price and the delivery date are both visible at the moment of choice. A vague "express" option converts poorly and creates support tickets.
How to implement it
Offer one or two express tiers with a named carrier and a calculated delivery date, showing the date beside the price at the shipping step. Make sure the cutoff for same-day dispatch is enforced so the date promise holds.
How to verify it
Select express at checkout and confirm the price and the promised date both appear, then compare the promised date against the carrier’s own estimate for that service.
